June 19, 2007 Board Meeting Agenda Item #26 Title APPROVAL OF AGREEMENT WITH HUMANE SOCIETY "K-9 ENRICHMENT PROGRAM" Description This agreement will allow for non-paid career technical work experience for students 16 years and older, all exceptionalities, including Option I and Option II Diplomas in 10th, 11th, &/or 12th grade students from Booker High School, Riverview High School, Sarasota High School and Oak Park School, to learn the day to day operation of running a business at the Humane Society of Sarasota County, Inc., within the "K-9 Enrichment Program". Recommendation That the School Board approve the agreement between the Vocational Instructional Program and the Humane Society of Sarasota County, Inc., "K-9 Enrichment Program", as presented.
